According to DG TAXUD-ICS2-Transition from R1 to R2 strategy which sets out the rules and conditions for the granting of a deployment window, upon expiry of that time limit, Air Carriers (General Air Cargo) have to submit, amend and cancel the required Entry Summary Declaration data sets (security and protection elements) as well as submit a Notification of Arrival,  in the Shared Trader Interface - STI /  Shared Trader Portal- STP  which is  a central EU  ICIS2 component  and independent of any  National component of  ICS2R2.

Notification of Presentation

The Presentation Notification shall be submitted to ICISnet and the functionality of ICS2 version 1 shall be used. In the context of implementing the business continuity plan, when there is no readiness by economic operators to submit the Presentation Notifications in time, as from 1 July 2023, it is necessary to submit them retrospectively to confirm to the common depository that the goods have been presented and therefore not to cancel (after 200 days) the previous submissions of Entry Summary Declarations. Therefore, in this case, the references of previous submissions of Entry Summary Declarations should be collected and submitted together with notifications of presentation at a later stage and no later than 2/10/2023.

Since the IC2R2 National Component is will not be ready on time in that case BCP is activated and Safety and Security measures are applied in the subsequent customs procedure.

Notice

According to Business Continuity Plan, in case of ICS2 National System Unavailability, it’s possible that during unavailability EO will receives both assessment complete and DNL, with delays and with priority given to DNL.  However, those delays are of substantial nature. Unfortunately, the malfunctions are not expected to be repaired soon, therefore, to avoid further delays, please continue your operations as usual, until GR National ICS2 System becomes available.
Furthermore, particularly in cases of ENS amendment, in which you haven’t received an AC message, please inform the Greek custom office of first entry via e-mail, referring the ENS MRN and the AWB (s). In case, the consignment (s) is to be controlled, upon presentation, you will be notified also by e-mail.
