After buying a property
As a property owner in Greece, you have the main tax obligations:
- submit the Property Data Statement (E9)
This Statement must be submitted by May 31st of the year following the date of preparation of the contract. The E9 statement can only be submitted electronically through the relevant E9/ENFIA Statement application of IAPR’s website. To this end, you must have or get access to myAADE online services.
The obligation of submission of E9 is not subject to time limits and non-timely submission may result in fines.
- You must pay the Unified Property Tax (ENFIA) each year.
The tax payment is made one-off or in equal monthly installments.
