Interface of POS - Cash Register Systems
In the last stage of the interface, the Cash Systems are upgraded (if necessary) and they are interfaced with the POS, under the responsibility of the company that uses them.
IAPR informs each User of payment services for the completion of the upgrade of all POS they have, in three ways:
- via email
- through a notification in the "My Messages" application on the myAADE digital portal
- with a relevant indication in "Information of Payments (EFT/POS)" in the "Business Details" application
Those businesses that have not connected their systems are obliged to connect the POS with the cash registers, according to Decision 1098/2022, until March 31, 2024.
Within this period, the obligees should get in touch with the authorized cash register installers to complete the process.
It is noted that the above date can be extended for an additional month, i.e., until April 30, 2024:
- for those businesses that were unable to find an available appointment in March but have a scheduled appointment with an installer in April. Appointments should be declared on a special platform that will be put into operation by IAPR in the second half of March.
- for businesses that will declare to the POS Registry that they are going to replace their cash register system with one of the new “all in one” solutions available, which does not require additional interface actions.
Businesses that use cash systems that cooperate with ERP have an obligation to interface the cash systems that cooperate with ERP with POS, according to Decision 1155/2023, until 30/9/2024.
