Prohibitions- Restrictions
Prohibitions and restrictions concern the measures that have been established as part of the public policy or public security and are imposed on the cross-border circulation of goods between the European Union and third countries, with the purpose of protecting the health and life of people, animals and plants, the protection of the environment and the preservation of cultural heritage and national treasures.
The provisions of prohibitions and restrictions refer to the issuance of a license / certificate / approval - upon request of the party concerned - by the national or community authority responsible for the establishment or monitoring of the relevant legislation, which is stated in section 44-1 of the declaration with the use of specific certificate codes.
