How to prepare for ICS2?
To migrate to ICS2, analyze and adapt your business processes accordingly. Based on the characteristics of the new ICS2, you should pay attention to the quality of the data submitted and develop or upgrade your IT systems and data collection processes. It is possible that you need to be actively involved in the implementation of ICS2 even though you may not have had any obligations in previous years to use ICS.
If you are not ready on time or the necessary and sufficient quality data has not been submitted to ICS2, shipments/cargoes will be "frozen" at border customs and their clearance process will not proceed. Penalties may be imposed for non-compliance.
