Step 1

Send data to IAPR from the Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection (ASEP)

After issuing the final results, ASEP sends to IAPR the relevant tables and the appointees’ contact details.

 

Step 2

Crosscheck contact information

The Human Resources Management Department of IAPR, will contact the successful candidates either by phone or by e-mail, in order to cross-check the correctness of their contact details.

 

Step 3

Sending document for submission of appointment supporting documents

IAPR informs appointees in writing of the appointment supporting documents they must submit to the service. The notification of the document is done exclusively electronically to the e-mail address indicated by the candidate, accepting that the messages sent via e-mail are subject to notification and entail the initiation of all legal deadlines and consequences.

 

Step 4

Collection of appointment supporting documents

The appointees gather all the required supporting documents. 
The supporting documents, the application and the solemn declaration of obstacles are attached below:

ii. Educational series preference application

The new appointees complete, along with the supporting documents, the application for preference for the Educational Series (A or B) which they wish to attend.

Note:

- Appointees are called to submit to IAPR only the supporting documents that had been submitted and graded by ASEP, to avoid delays in the process of checking their authenticity. Any presentation of additional supporting documents implies a significant delay in the completion of the appointment process. Other diplomas and supporting documents can be presented after completion of the appointment, to Department A' of the Directorate of Human Resources Management of IAPR, for their entry in the employee’s individual service file.

- Appointees must be eligible for appointment both at the time of the application deadline and at the time of their appointment. The same applies to appointment obstacles.

 

Step 5

Submission of supporting documents to IAPR

All the above mentioned supporting documents are submitted by the successful applicants to the Directorate of Human Resources Management of IAPR.

i. How to submit supporting documents:

The appointees send the required supporting documents by registered mail to IAPR, writing the following on the outside of the envelope:
To: Independent Authority for Public Revenue, Directorate of Human Resources Management, for the announcement of ………., Address: 10, Karagiorgi Servias, P.O. 10562, Athens
 

ii. Deadline for submitting supporting documents:

The deadline for submitting supporting documents to IAPR is twenty (20) calendar days and starts from the day after the notification of the documents for the submission of supporting documents by the Directorate of Human Resources Management of IAPR.

iii. Non-acceptance of appointment:

A candidate who does not wish to be appointed must send a certified statement of his/her signature, in which he/she will explicitly state his/her non-acceptance of the appointment, to the e-mail diorismoi@aade.gr of Department B of the Human Resources Management Directorate of IAPR.

 

Step 6

Resignation/Cessation of another professional activity

Appointees must resign from their profession or any other position they hold either in the public or private sector or any self-employment.
Resignation and cessation of any other professional activity is mandatory, and suspension from practicing a profession is not sufficient. 
Their resignation takes place after the publication in the Government Gazette of their appointment decision and no later than the day before their swearing-in at IAPR.

 

Step 7

Verification of the authenticity of supporting documents (IAPR), publication of an Allocation Decision (Ministry of the Interior) and recording of a credit in the budget (IAPR) 

The Directorate of Human Resources Management of IAPR verifies the authenticity of all supporting documents submitted to it by the appointees and requests the issuance of a Staff Allocation Decision to the Ministry of the Interior, and the entry of a relevant credit in the budget to the Financial Services of IAPR.


Step 8

Appointment

  • After the issuance of the allocation decision and the entry of a credit in the budget, the Directorate of Human Resources Management of IAPR issues the appointment decision, which is published in the Government Gazette.
  • The new employees are appointed:  |
    A) to a personal probationary employee position at the Tax and Customs Academy, which will be established with their appointment deed in derogation of the written provisions, in case they attend the introductory training program of the Tax and Customs Academy.
    B) to a vacancy organic probationary employee position, based on the ASEP appointment tables, in case they do not follow the introductory training program of the Tax and Customs Academy.
